he mansion has been faithfully restored to the grandeur of a bygone era boasting four-poster beds, Victorian decor and antique furniture.

he Port o' Call bar and lounge is the perfect place to meet fellow guests before adjourning to Federick's restaurant, a beautiful and romantic dining room overlooking the gardens and magnificent magnolia trees. here is so much to do and see in Strahan. There are cruises up the famous Gordon River and to historic Sarah Island, scenic flights over the West coast and Macquarie Harbour and the Franklin and Gordon rivers, Jet Boat rides up the King River to the old port of Teepookana and four wheel drive tours into the wilderness or to Ocean Beach. You can also take a rainforest walk, go horseriding or take a scenic drive to one of the many historical sites in the area.
